Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has its roots in Europe and Japan. This alternative food, health, social, and economic system was developed by consumers who sought a more direct connection to their food supply, who were concerned about the widespread use of pesticides, and who desired a stewardship role for local agricultural land. Participating in a CSA is a way for area residents and farmers to join together to benefit local agriculture. Our members purchase a share of the harvest in advance of the growing season. In return, they receive a weekly supply of high quality, certified naturally-grown vegetables, herbs and u-pick flowers from late spring to early fall. We work with natural processes and cycles to grow food by building a living soil that helps plants interact with conditions of rain and sun, and by doing so produce high quality food.

This program provides farm-fresh, locally-grown produce for a minimum of 18 weeks. If you are interested in additional information, please call 864-968-9678 or email Garden Manager Natalie Brookshire - [email as image].
