The Brookshire Family Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust. The Foundation was started in response to a need for alternative and traditional approaches to learning, habilitation, and rehabilitation in the Upstate Area. Having both a child with disabilities, and a matriarch who suffered a life altering stroke, research for complementary therapies, lead to the discovery of agricultural, equine, horticultural, nutritional and various educational approaches to assist in the global rehabilitation of both individuals.
Seeing the combination of these therapies bring about miracles in their own families' lives, they came to the realization that the community at large might benefit from the same. Through this realization they generously developed and dedicated 22 acres of land in the Taylors/Greer area to provide services and be home to 2 complimentary organizations. These organizations are Heritage Place Equestrian Center/T.R.E.A.T. and Mini Miracles Farms.
